Sound is TOO DAMN LOUD (Rito pls)

I launched league today and my sound was all wonky. When messing with the settings, some things like recall sounds, smite sounds, ending the game, and a few others just completely ignore the levels I put them at and blast through my speakers. I have messed with sound effect settings and some settings change, but like I said some sounds just refuse to be anything but max volume. I just wanna play game I don't wanna go deaf at the age of 25.

EDIT: I should mention I saw a post on the EUW boards mentioning this issue but have not seen one on this board yet.
