*Game Freezes Indefinitely*

It seems as though since the last patch, the game has been freezing to where I have to restart my comp to get back into the game. I hear a windows USB sound as it is about to or as it is happening, then I have to reboot. I've tried reinstalling League itself. I've tried repairing. I even went as far as formatting altogether and reinstalling Windows. The problem still persists. I got through three games this time before it happened and decided to come to the forums with it in search of some kind of help.

After reinstalling Windows and League, I played through one game with no problems and went to play a second when I got a bugsplat (which I never get) and got a 5 game low priority queue and League prompted that something didn't install correctly and it did an automatic repair. Started a third game and as soon as I got into the rift I heard that USB sound again and sure enough the game was frozen and I had to reboot.

I know all of my drivers for everything including USB are up to date and I have no problems with any other games or programs. Anyone else running into this issue?

I've also been having this problem after the most recent patch. I've used the repair tool and update my Nvidia drivers. I now no longer perma freeze but I do freeze from time to time, normally well in team fights. I've never heard the USB noise that you are describing though. League isn't the only game that I've been having problems with recently so I'm wondering if windows updated something and screwed everything up.
