[GAMEPLAY] Disconnects from Game, Can't Reconnect, Game is "Gone"

[Edit: I'm not sure if this should go under Gameplay, Crash, Client, or what?] This has happened twice in the last week. I've never experienced it before that. The first time, I was in an ARAM with my friend. It was around four minutes in, when suddenly we both get the "Attempting to Reconnect". We wait a minute or so to try and reconnect, then we just "Quit Game". It puts us back into the normal League client, except we don't get the option to Reconnect to our game. We can even queue for another game. The game was never put into our match history. We can't even see the people we played with in our Recently Played. The second time was today. My friend and I were in a Ranked Flex for about 45 minutes, when suddenly we get "Attempting to Reconnect" again. We quit, and then we can't reconnect. I didn't take any screenshots because I didn't think it was a problem at the time.
