Keyboard doesn't work

This used to be a rare problem that would come up, but recently it has been more regular in the occurrence. Sometimes when the game loads, my keyboard does not work. I am able to chat in champion select, and even type when LoL client is not open, but in game, my keyboard does not work at all... until I restart the client. It happened once where I had to restart the client twice, and when the keyboard actually started working, the sound did not. Please try to fix this, it is very frustrating having to reload the client, especially when it is almost every other game where the problem happens.
