Blocked by the Zz'Rot Portal

Now i am not sure if this is a bug or it is working as intended but i was playing as Leona and placed my Zz'Rot portal down in the gap before inner turret and enemy jungle in bot lane.

It just so happened i was also standing in the entrance way when i placed the portal down and i was stuck against the wall. Seriously i could not move or walk anywhere it was lucky that the enemy cam up the lane and i could zenith blade out but i just found it odd that you can block yourself in with it but can generally walk over it when it has been placed.

Thought i would ask though is this a bug or is it indeed working as intended?

It is a structure similar how towers/inhibs are structures so you do bonus damage to it when you have a lot of AP. You can't walk though towers and inhibs because they are structures. I guess their is no code that will push units away from structures should a unit get in its space similar to Baron. It is semi working as intended I guess but it could be improved.
