Yasuo Q vs Zyra Plants

When you use Yasuo's normal q (non-tornado) and hit a Zyra plant it one hits it (which is the correct part). But if there is a minion, or another plant in front of a plant Yasuo q will hit the first target and the plant, but it will not damage the plant.

To recreate: Step 1: Have a an enemy creature (minion, and plant) in front of yasuo. Step 2: Have a Zyra plant behind enemy creature. Step 3: Have Yasuo q (non-Tornado) hit enemy creature then plant.

As far as I know this is not intentional and it is easy to recreate. I am unsure about having a monster or champion in front of Yasuo q affects the plant, as I only saw it in my game and only re-created it using minions.
