Heimerdinger Turrets

I just played an aram that showed Heimerdinger's turret's to attack from across the map (Howling Abyss). Wasn't too sure if the turret was dealing damage but it happened more than once. On top of that the turret was attacking despite Heimerdinger being around to allow it to fire.
