Flex Queue Is Broken

I've been playing with a lot of my friends recently in flex queue and we've been vs'ing diamonds and plats and it makes it extremely un-fun to vs people with two divisions up of me and my friends. My friends now refuse to play flex because they're done vs'ing diamonds and plats in ranked. Can you please fix this massive elo change in matchmaking? Thanks
