League timer in champion select is off

So I've witnessed this a few times where i would go down to the nub of locking in (maybe 4 seconds left) and all of a sudden i get kicked out of the lobby and get forced into a queue claiming i didn't lock in. The actual lock in timers is off with when you get kicked out of the game. Has anyone else experienced this?
