Game blacksceening in borderless?

When i get into a game, after everyone loads in, im fine for a few seconds but then if I'm in borderless windowed mode the game just blackscreens. I can still hear the game and everything. If i tab out and click on another window i can see the game but when i tab back in after a few seconds it goes back to blackscreen. I can still interact with the game. I have to tab out and go into video settings quickly to change it to windowed. I had this problem before and the only solution i found was to do a fresh install of drivers but the issue is back again. If i try fullscreen it seems to do it once for a couple of seconds and not again from what ive seen.
