Game blacksceening in borderless and fullscreen

This just started happening today. My game, when in borderless or fullscreen, will be completely black. I can still hear game noises and all that. I have to change it to windowed. I have run hextech repair tool and nothing. Strangely sometimes when it goes black if i hit escape to open the menu it will let me see again for a brief moment.
