I think another great way to handle this would be to allow me to scroll through my champs while other ppl are picking. I honestly don't care to see the admittedly cool portrait animations if it means I can't scroll through my roster. This could give ppl up to several minutes to think about their options in some cases, which could go a long way to saving time in the champ select.

To be honest, if we could just go back to an auto-lock if the champ is already selected I think the majority of the player base would be happy. I get leaver busted too often when selecting in the last few seconds. Seems to be about 2 sec and under where this issue is occurring. The rest of dynamic queue is fine, but this element has been 'fixed' once before and is clearly a failure.
