[Client] All Champions Disappear when using filter

I was playing Summoner's Rift ranked earlier after the new patch.

1. In the Champion selection screen, I typed the champion name on the filter textbox.
2. The Champion roster doesn't get filtered.
3. Pick any champion at this point.
4. All champions will disappear next time you have to pick a champion. This happens during banning stage as well as normal selection stage.

This forced me to dodge my promotion match, which isnt nice. I closed the client, and then I could see the champions again.

Later in a Normal Summoner's Rift I repeated the steps above, I picked a champion after the filter didn't work. Which was no problem, I found the champion by scrolling down.

On the next match on Normal Summoner's Rift, the champion roster only displayed 3 random champions instead of the full roster. Again I can't see the full champion roster unless I close the client. This is getting very annoying.
