Abilities flying in random directions

EDIT: Cause determined, fix now needed

It's back again. Happened multiple times as Morgana in a game a few minutes ago. I would have camera centered, aim near bottom of screen (may or may not have been over the HUD, but nowhere near minimap), toss a Q while mouse was DIRECTLY on top of them, and the Binding would throw itself out about 150 degrees clockwise from where I aimed.

Edit: I have figured it out the cause of this, during a game today as Lux. When you click on YOUR OWN champion's portrait, the one located to the left of your abilities, it attempts to cast it centered on yourself. This does one of two things, depending if you're moving or not. If you are stationary, it sometimes shoots directly OPPOSITE from wherever your mouse is from your champion, but always shoots in an upper-right direction. If you are moving, it casts it in the direction you were, so 180 degrees directly behind you.

Self-casting targeted abilities by clicking your own picture on your HUD should either not work at all, or only for abilities that can actually affect yourself (or have an options toggle, which I'm not aware of currently existing for this).

Have you tried a different mouse? it may be spassing out quickly so it seems as if the game is glitching when it is your mouses sensor.

Not a bug, just a way to balance Morgana's 3000 years long snare.

I have discovered the cause of this (edited original post as well). If you are trying to follow someone off your map, and your curser happens to go to your own character's portrait on the HUD (not the one near minimap, the one that is to the left of your abilities and exp bar), it will attempt to cast it centered on yourself. This is fine for abilities that can actually be cast on yourself, but shouldn't work for skillshots.

I figured it out when I was leading my curser on the enemy Tristana for a Lux ult this morning, and it ended up firing directly behind me. Afterwords, I went into a custom game and confirmed this is the issue, and noticed one of two things happen. If you're standing still, it will fire in an upper-right angle (if you have camera centered, it is DIRECTLY opposite direction from Lux and your mouse, when camera is not centered, it will be a random angle in that direction). If you are moving, the ability trying to center itself on your location causes it to appear directly behind you, which causes skillshots to fire 180 degrees behind the direction you are moving.
