So... On the topic of relaunching League.

This isn't technically a bug, but I would like it changed. Like many other players I keep League pinned to my taskbar. However, with the most recent patch, if you try relaunching the League client it will immediately close the current instance. This is a bad thing. Because the League client is in a separate task bar slot than the launch icon, it's very easy to misclick if you're not paying attention and want to re-highlight the client. This in turn causes you to immediately log out because the current instance is forcibly closed. Do you see the issue yet?

I've accidentally dodged games (including Ranked) because of these misclicks. I'll be in champion select and then minimize the client for whatever reason (or highlight another program), and on odd occasion when I try to highlight League again from the taskbar I'll accidentally misclick. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had this happen to them either.

Please fix this.

So, the reason for this, is that when you update, you actually recieve a new patcher itself. You can check this by going in through your RADS folder if it really interests you. There are several ways around this, the easiest being that you pin the application 'Play League of Legends' to your taskbar instead of the launcher or patcher themselves. This has worked for me so far, although is a bit more annoying to find initially.
