Mic not working on voice chat with Macbook Pro and Os Mojave

So I just came back to league of legends, had myself a grand old time, and then realized we have voice chat! Wooooo, I get on, duo with my friend, we chat, and I come back the next day to see that I gotta update my mac to Mojave. Im done, same friend and I get into a game. Both of us are muted. My settings are fine, i've configured everything. My mic was recently purchased. Can anyone help me???
