"Enable Camera Smoothing" option doesn't stay checked

I like to play with the "Enable Camera Smoothing" option turned on, but there seems to be a bug where it doesn't stay checked in the settings screen between matches. I tried this on a friends computer and found the same thing.

Please fix it! I hate having to remember to do it every game or losing lane early because it's not on.

Can a Riot employee respond to this? It's been 7 months now and the bug is still present. This can't be hard to fix and it's incredibly frustrating to me every single game.
