HUD prevents pinging

Since I bind my g and alt keys to other things I cant ping. Hence i cant ping my teammates. I want to bind my pings to mouse (like it was before) but I cant. Riot needs to understand that pings shouldnt disrupt your key usage, so plz give me an option to click so I can ping.
