[CRASH] Mac client (patch 5.9) crashing after champion select and Store not working.

I've been using a MacBook Pro for the last one year to play League. But this is the first time such an issue is occurring. After successfully patching 5.9 (bard loading screen and everything), the client keeps crashing after champion select, just before the loading screen is about to start. I have to restart my client and login all over again to get the reconnect screen which then loads me 5-6 minutes into the game just fine. But due to this setback I am unable to win games/play ranked. Also the store hasn't been working, it keeps saying there is an unknown error preventing me to access the store. I'm trying to solve this on my own but after several tries I am now Riot please fix these issues ASAP, and thank you for your support.
