Viktor upgrading abilities (not leveling up)

So I just thought rthis was a one time thing but in nexus blitz it happened several times and I only remembered because i played Aram and it happened there too. Whenever I bought my augment thing and upgraded any ability a couple of white little rectangles would appears near the top left corner of my screen, they would appear there but a little towards the middle. It's just annoying, doesn't effect each abilities damage or anything , just super annoying .
