To replicate the big you or a friend pick sona as support, level her q first. Don't use the ability until you get into lane. Try and poke the enemy champs with it. You should experience a pause in the game lasting 1-2 seconds and then it catches back up. Happens to me everytime.
This bug is super annoying. Please fix it.
It effects me regardless of which team I'm on too (The first Q from a Sona on the other team causes the same issue for me.)
+1. I normally get around 90FPS with Vsync off.
This only seems to happen when hitting something with the active. Qing on the fountain does nothing, but Qing a jungle minion seems to trigger the freeze. After that it's fine.
Edit: To replicate it, you -can- use it before getting to lane, but the freeze won't happen until the first time the active comes out to deal damages. Needless to say, AA->Q->xAA doesn't work.
It's not new. This has been happening for at least a week. But yea Sona's first Q freezes the game.
It actually freezes everyone in the game. You can abuse this in lane to get your first Q-auto of with 0 chance of your enemy being able to react.
