Client update shutdown my computer (not restart) then won't connect to game server

Just what title states. I installed the update and upon completion my computer just shutdown without notification. No errors, just bleep blop gone. Booted up, logged on and entered an aram game. When the game was about to start the screen did it's usual blink away, but then reverted back and gave a big fat "reconnect" button in the middle of the screen, but the second League window didn't pop. Each time I press reconnect it pauses, screen goes away for about 4 seconds, then screen and reconnect option reappears. Second tile never opens. I hate leavers, and hate even more being the character that isn't moving, but now have more empathy for those who get jacked with issues. Game is still in progress.

And I'm sure I'll get a timeout for this... Nobody sends baby to the corner!
