Galio Bulwark + Ignite

Here is what Bulwark says directly from the league website: "Galio shields an ally Champion, increasing their Armor and Magic Resistance, and restoring Galio's Health each time that Champion suffers damage. Galio shields a friendly champion for 4 seconds, increasing their Armor and Magic Resistance by 30/45/60/75/90. Each time the unit suffers damage, Galio is healed for 25/40/55/70/85 (+30% Ability Power). (-20% healing for each consecutive hit)"

"Each time the unit suffers damage."

Now Ignite from the League website says: "Ignites target enemy champion, dealing 70-410 true damage (depending on champion level) over 5 seconds, grants you vision of the target, and reduces healing effects on them for the duration."

"Over 5 seconds."

Argument:

Ignite must technically do damage to enemy champion, in this case Galio, AFTER it is cast meaning that his Bulwark heal would activate and heal him, countering at least some of the ignite even with the reduced healing. As playing Galio mid I have seen this ignite over and over again kill me because the Bulwark wouldn't activate while other mid lakers have some sort of shield, Lux, or a heal, uncommonly but still out there Sona. Bulwark is a shield that simply gives armor and magic resist which is great for many situations but with pure true damage it doesn't matter at all.

Bottom line that since it is in fact a shield it should be triggered by the ignite and heal Galio even if the ignite is on someone else, "Galio shields a friendly champion." It is a bit unfair how others can counter the ignite with their shield while Galio can not simply because "true" is put in there.

They call it a shield, but there's not an actual shield (it doesn't act as temporary bonus HP that absorbs damage). It's just a resistance buff.
