[CLIENT] Mac client stuck scanning files

I am using a Macbook pro 2013 and the League Mac client as well. If I ever happen to make the fatal error of closing the launcher when it is attempting to update, the next time I reopen the launcher it pauses at 33% and proceeds to scan an indefinite amount of files for an indefinite period of time (indefinite because I leave it on overnight), or simply crashes forcing me to restart the process. A fix for this would be helpful, or i could just pray that I don't make this mistake again.
