Sound is staticy/computerized when in game on Mac

Please help sometimes when I load into a game on a mac the sound is staticy. I don't know what to do. Reloading sometimes works but it also runs the risk (if I reconnect to slowly) of my team remaking. I don't know why I get it staticky sometimes. I'm using wireless headphones (Beats by Dre) and they don't have a problem with anything so I doubt it's them. Anyone else experiencing this problem?
