Client would not let me connect to the game

I had just locked in my champion and the game was about to start up and load. Unusually the league loading screen did not display. A message saying "A game is still in progress" with a "reconnect" button. When i tried to click the 'Reconnect' button it loaded for a second and then nothing happened, i continually pressed the button and nothing was happening. This has happened before and the way i fixed it last time was having to repair the client. I proceeded to repair the client which took almost 10 minutes and by now my team had remade the ranked game. I was now left with five 20 minute leaver busters under no fault of my own. Is there someway to remove my leaver busters? Please fix your client, i have had so many issues with it recently and it is really starting to get on my nerves.
