[CLIENT] Anti-virus catching RADS as behavior logging spyware

Issue: Anti-virus software flagging RADS as a virus in most recent update

I queued for a ranked game first thing after patching League of Legends, and after the draft, as the actual game was loading, some component of RADS was flagged by AVG Anti-virus as a moderate threat performing "general behavioral detection". This forced a removal of the flagged file and after restarting the League of Legends patcher to rejoin the game, the Launch button couldn't open the login screen. I couldn't bypass it by opening the direct executable file (because that function is blocked now) and was not able to get in to the game until fully repairing my League of Legends installation and uninstalling AVG. This obviously took longer than the length of the ranked match, meaning I "left" the game and lost LP :(

So some part of RADS was changed very recently and it is being flagged as a virus. All the relevant log files were removed with the hasty uninstalls/repairs so I don't know which file specifically caused the problem but this has probably happened to other people in the past 24 hours, so some change needs to be reverted.

Hey, I just had the exact same problem a few days ago! I was afraid I'd have to uninstall and reinstall the game. But I was able to get on just now! I'll let you know if anything else happens! :O

Hi guys,

If you get this issue can you please submit a false positive report to AVG: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en_US&urlname=How-to-report-a-false-incorrect-detection

Rest assured RADS is not a virus - it's a false detection on AVG's part. I have raised it and I'm sure some others have too, but the more people that alert them to this, the quicker the resolution I would think :-)
