When Riot refuses to acknowledge that they have screwed up

Its been nearly 5 days now since the reset, and there have been many problems here and there.

But one they have been completely silent on.

If you were suspended last season for any reason, you got your rewards taken away, and the system decided that wasnt enough.

With no border, the system doesnt know which rank you were previously, and thus it decides that you are a new player.

Which means you can go from plat, to silver even when closing off no positive on the qualifiers.

5 days, and still not a single word from riot.

This isnt even a bug anymore, its a god damn insult.

After Placements, you won't be the same rank you ended S5 / S6 Preseason as.

If you deserve to be a higher rank, then eventually you will get there.

For those who don't understand why there are MMR resets and why Placements are how they are take into consideration the following.

The game is constantly changing, Players can be a Bronze material player one patch and a Gold Player in another patch. Don't expect to be the same rank every season just because you ended S5 as X rank. The game is always changing that means the player must adapt to these changes. Some players adapt to change better than others, that is why they are ranked higher. The point of the MMR Reset is to display how a player has adapted to these changes, which means the rank you're placed at isn't so significant. 10 Game is statistically not a large enough sample size to draw any conclusions, so stop worrying about your Rank and continue playing more games.

The reset is harder on higher ranks, if you belong there you should easily carry your way back to Platinum.

Also Riot doesn't look at your Border for Placements, they look at your MMR. So there is no bug for players who had their Ranked rewards stripped from them.

Just fyi, where you are placed this season this has nothing to do with being punished and having your ranked rewards taken away last season.

A lot of people need to realize that just because you win 10 games in placements doesn't mean anything. People need to learn about MMR and how it works and how it changes. MMR resets to a base number that is based off your average MMR from previous season and your ending placement/rank.

The placement matches either add MMR for wins or subtract MMR for losses. At the end of your placements you have a solid MMR number which rounds up or down and places you where >>>> you belong <<<<

Carrying and not getting deaths does very very little to LP/placements, just because you do good in the game means nothing to your MMR.

I don't know the full story behind MMR and ranked but I know enough to not complain when you get place where you belong. If you were gold, silver, ect. then get yourself out of bronze should be easy since you all say you don't belong in bronze...
