Can't get the client to work 2016

This is a rather unusual occurrence, but I just updated League of Legends, and after scanning over 3000 files, the game will not work anymore. I tried to play a game and the client immediately crashed, showing this message:

"The instruction of 0x010eb8e2 referenced memory at 0x014aa644. The memory could not be written.

Click on OK to terminate the program."

I clicked OK and the same thing still happens.

This seems like a really complex problem to solve, so does anybody know how to fix it?

I just encountered this problem too after getting into a ranked game. The countdown begins then it crashes and won't allow me to reconnect.

It happens in any lobby as soon as the game is about to begin. It loads up then crashes and tells you to reconnect crashing after every attempt. I think it may have been the patch today affecting some people. It's pretty disheartening considering I lost a good chunk of LP and let my teamates down by being a man short.
