HUD disappearing

Some of my games (most, not all) will start out just fine, but then the majority of the HUD will disappear.

I can't see:

• Character portraits
• item/skill portraits
• active buffs/de-buffs or stacks. (i.e. Nasus Q stack)
• Information on targeted champions. Clicking on the enemy/partner only renders what i can see through my hud. (I.e. cant see enemy Nasus Stacks or items in top left.) Also when I Tab, I can see most the information (including items, players, ksa/cs.) but i can't see the jungle timers at all.

I can still see:

• Mini map
• health/mana bars
• Total gold
• Active cool down timers on spells or items. (The blue shading and clock are all i see.)
  I have to mouse over where things "should" be in order to see anything regarding that item. (Like tear of goddess stacks.)

Any idea what could be causing this? (Has been a problem since later half of patch 4.20 and continues through 4.21)
