My border keeps disappearing and reappearing.

I earned Gold for the first time last season, first time I gave it a real go.

However, it seems like half of my games the gold border appears, and half of my games it doesn't.[During the loading screen] I know people can be punished and lose their border, but I haven't been punished (or reported as a far as I know) and still Honor Lvl 5 (Max).

What is going on?
