So one day I opened the alpha client, went about my evening, and then I closed it I couldn't reopen it cause the shortcut deleted itself.
I sent into my recycle bin to see if I did it, nothing. I went into my desktop files to see if it was just a glitched icon, nothing.
The only way I can open alpha is going into my :C folder and manually opening it.
Nothing I do seems to bring the shortcut back.
Noxian Pride1 votesI couldn't tell you what happened there, but I can tell you beta was released earlier today. Might be Riot trying to tell you to update? Not even trying to be rude when I put it that way, just what I think might be the case :x

This actually happened a few days ago sadly. Maybe they did it a few days earlier? Seems weird that shortcuts would just disappear, its almost like riot deleting your pictures, its something saved in your computer files.
Whenever I open the old league client it does give me the beta so I guess all is well sorta.
Noxian Pride1 votesYeah I honestly dunno what to tell you man. Personally I'd be fine with it all since new client shenanigans, but at the same time I'd be worried too if stuff on my computer just disappeared of its own whim.
