Mac Ethernet Cable Issue

When I play LOL in Mac, I use thunderbolt to ethernet cable, because wifi is slow. Sometimes I lose connection to internet through ethernet because the cord comes lose even the slightest bit. It takes a while from me to get back the connection. Also changing from wifi to ethernet during game is an infinite wait. Hope you could fix this. Whenever I have internet, I should be able to connect to the game fast no matter what the issue is. Right now lol isn't delivering that.
