Blue Screen Of Death when patching

Hey guys so I have a problem... I updated my LoL 2 days ago and just when it was about to be done, I got a BSOD and my laptop shut down. Since then, everytime I try to patch, it scans until 2500 (reached 5000 once) then my laptop crashes. Not sure what happened there. Any ideas? Also, maybe the patching has been interrupted in which case I know there is a file in RADS>projects that i have to delete so that I can redownload it during patch but I forgot which one. Help will be very much appreciated. Thanks, crazy.

The ones in RADS/projects, so I can tell you witch one to add and remove.

Thats odd those are the files I have as well, Must be a virus on your computer. Try running an anti-virus. If you don't have one I recommend Sophos.

Yeah these files are the ones that everyone usually have. But, I had some other patching problems before and there was a thread which would tell us to delete one (or many i don't really remember) of these files then it would simply redownload the whole recent patch from scratch.

Try uninstalling the client and installing again. It's possible that a file is corrupted and causing your cpu to crash. Outside of that it may just be a hardware issue or a virus. Also, laptops can get hot really fast if theyre in an enclosed area or a surface that absorbs heat easily so make sure it's got room to breathe and isn't hot to the touch.

I was trying to avoid having to redownload the whole game again as my internet is kinda slow and it would take a lot of data from my package xD Other than that, right now it's kinda cold where I live so it's not a matter of overheating (I'm using a laptop and it's nowhere near the point where it will overheat). You might be right though, could be a hardware issue or virus..
