Cannot See Chat in Spectator mode.

Me and a friend are spectating one of our friend and he can see what they are typing but I can't? I tried to uncheck and check the all chat box in the option and the chat in the eye icon but it still wont work.

There are special options on the bottom left of the spectator HUD that lets you enable/disable elements of the HUD, including chat. (Should be an eye icon)

But usually you shouldn't be able to see what anyone is typing ingame in spectator mode anyway, so chat in spectator mode is only useful to msg somebody during it.

You can only view what people are saying in custom game chat.

Did you try exiting and reentering when you checked the all chat box?
