I played an ARAM game last night as and the enemy team had a . When I saw this I was thinking "cool free heals when she uses W and walk on it with my W on me." Well I was wrong. Whenever I walked over her W with my W on me I got no healing and no future damage from enemy champions healing me either. The odd thing is, when I put it on an ally and they walk over I got the full healing.

Just as a sidenote, Galio doesn't stand a very good chance against Cass. She may heavily rely on magic damage but she still can kick your ass due the fact that she's the equivalent of an ap marksman with neverending damage, no tankyness is going to save you from that. Not sure if my experience with that matchup is related to the glitch you've described but I never once struggled against Galio when I played the snek.
