Constant Reconnect button, can't enter a game

Since today 16/9/2018 , I have gotten this bug where after champion select(every game mode character select) I don't get a character loading screen but instead I am met with a Reconnect button which merely refreshes the client and brings me back to it ...over..and over ...and over.

I have seen this bug on the boards but I have tried everything suggested and I still can't play...I got back during this patch from a month of break, got the new Kayn bundle because I really liked it ...and now I can't play and even got a leaver buster.

I tried: Initiate full repair - nothing happened , brought me back to the reconnect screen Hextech Repair tool - same Reinstalled - same Whitelisted the program through Windows Defender - nope, nothing Run as admin - nothing checked connection issues and internet speed - nothing to fix , everything runs like it should

It is a shame to come and be excited for the new event only to be met with a reconnect screen, and not being able to play with friends , try the new skins or w/e.

Hope someone comes up with a good solution, because I am all out of ideas.
