Keyboard Locking?

I've had this problem since the day i installed this game years ago...i've finally been able to locate the root of the problem. If there is a lot of activity (or even minimal in some cases) in the chat log, sometimes my keyboard will lock and I can no longer input any keyboard commands. No skills...you can only imagine how bad that is in certain moments. Its INCREDIBLY frustrating. The only way to fix it is to alt-tab out and let whatever error it is clear, then i'm good to go again. Still its pretty annoying and there's gotta be somethin I can do to prevent it or make it stop altogether. Does anyone else have this problem? Did you find a way to fix it? otherwise riot can you look into this?
