[MAC] Spectator data not found

I'm playing LoL on a Macbook Pro. When I tried to spectate a friend's match, it either went dark screen and a message appeared "spectator data not found, try to reconnect?" or I got inside the spectating match but everything's frozen. Bottom line is, the spectating option isn't available for use, at least for me on my Mac. Any1 experienced this problem? Any1 know how to fix?

same problem since 4.20 or 4.19 i think. riot never fix it! it's really ridiculous
