Black loading screen that just shows text, ping and percentage

i know a few other people have posted this but i wanted to do one for myself to get riot to notice!

basically when the loading screen comes up its black with just text on the screen for around 30 seconds or so then finally loads the pictures. it's been happening for the past 2 patches or so. I've been told its a connection issue but i believe that's wrong because I've had shit internet before but it's never done this black loading screen with text thing until recently.
