for the last 2 patches what is with my firewall popping up when i open league?

I'd gamble Its got to do with voice chat being introduced. Voice probably changes how the client interacts with the firewall for security purposes.

oh yeah that's a good guess. i hope they make it stop appearing though, i'm kind of a perfectionist so it ruins my login screen vibe xD

A new protocol (voice traffic) requires a new port to be open and used.

Every time HotS updates, Firewall pops up for me as well. It's not hackers. It's likely changing the firewall entry rule for League with every update and it asks you if it can do that.

Windows firewall tends to lose track of if a program is allowed through or not if the exe itself changes significantly or changes location. I think my firewall has 10-15 different entries for Heroes of the Storm since I have to give it permission every single update.

Theyre using ~~cookies~~ poro snax to track your web activity so they can make your shop more suited to your needs.

For instance they keep trying to sell me highly revealing female skins. I either spend a lot of time on the web buying lingerie or.... use that imagination

I didn't get it last patch but did this but the last 2 patches I've got bug splats while updating, it seems to stall and then appears but patches fine.

i get a popup every time i have a new program/game that wants to connect to the internet. it's just like hey do you want to allow this on public networks or not basically.

Tbh i just ignore the popup but it is annoying that it's happening every patch. I suspect they changed some code here and there with the voice chat and open parties and stuff and that's why.
