HORRIBLE LEAGUE CLIENT BUG IN CHAMP SELECT

Whenever I ban a champion, change my summoner spells or change my runes in champ select, my client just breaks and does not let me lock in a champion or interact with any buttons. I see the timer but it just runs down until it 0 and usually I dodged by then and I have to wait an unnecessary amount of time to re-queue up again. Please fix this or if its just me please tell me a way to fix it.
