When I want to go and play a league match the client its self will open up but after a champ select is over my actual game will never open or take up to 10 minutes to start. this has become a major annoyance causing me to get a 20 minute leaver buster and I was just wondering if anybody else has had this problem.
I've experienced the same thing just recently today. Well technically ever since last year. You're not the only one who've experienced this. I'm assuming you're unable to reconnect even after you restart the client or your PC. I've reported this to Riot and they've done nothing, but recommend you looking into one of their help links they've created. They're pretty lazy in looking up into the error thinking it's not their problem. Nothing is wrong with your PC. Trust me. I've done everything in my power to fix this issue personally thinking this was my problem. I've tried restarting the client, restarting my PC, checked my firewall, checked my internet (I've used Wifi and Ethernet at work and at home), I even went the extra step in buying a new PC as well, uninstall and reinstall the game, etc... You name it. I've spent countless hours trying to fix one issue and with no success at all. This error will continue to happen. It is not your problem. It's Riot's. I've played this game for more than 5 years and haven't experienced this issue since Season 7. There has to be a bug regarding the connection and troubleshoot of the game. It's a random glitch that happens out of nowhere. I have no problems starting and connecting the following games after that. It just happens randomly about 15% of the time I play League. All I can say is, deal with it and pray you don't get banned or punished for it. Well at least you've reported it now. Hopefully Riot will at least compensate you or so. Because getting a leaver buster for something you didn't intentionally do is stupid. There are tons of the same reports regarding this issue. You're not alone.
