Rank System needs WORK

So I just played a Fiora game in rank as Top Lane but we traded lanes for the better match up. Well after winning the game it set the win to "Mid Lane". This is very annoying since I am ranking up Top lane and I think over all the system is a bad idea. The concept is good but the way it's set is bad. At the end of the day it doesn't matter FULLY what lane you are in. You still have the knowledge of using trinkets, punishing cs, etc. Please fix this rioto and give me my 30minutes spent back in Rank.
