Gifting taking RP but not showing the purchase or giving the gift.

Has anyone else gotten this problem? I tried to gift someone a skin, and it said that it worked and all that, took away the RP like normal and I didn't think anything of it. The recipient didn't get the skin on his end, and when I checked it didn't show I'd bought it in my purchases (I don't know if it does show gifts but I figured it would). I've sent him another gift to see if it still happens.

(Edit): I retract my previous statement as it seems he DID get them, the bug seems to be that the gift didn't show any hint that he did get it. For a while the skin wasn't shown available but now apparently is, but both times he didn't get any indication of receiving them.
