kata bug against braum

so this braum attacked me and whenever i throw my Q or do a W dagger when his shield is up he just removes the daggers. the Q i kinda understand but my W dagger?? is this a bug? if it isnt you should change this or a braum is katas biggest counter. it would leave me with only Q and E and R dmg
