Game client resetting network link

Several times now during gameplay I'll lag out and have the reconnect message spamming for a few mins, I exit client and my network connection loses connectivity (hard wired).

So this game is somehow resetting my network connectivity; I have to bring up network diagnostics and reconnect to the internet, then reconnect in the game client.

recap: lag out "reconnecting", then as I exit the LoL client, my actual network connection in the bottom right toolbar shows a small yellow triangle, I have to pull up network and sharing (win 7 64bit) which shows a red X over the "internet", I then hit the red X and the connection refreshes and then I can log back into the lol client and resume my game.

The game is now crossing the line and messing with my actual OS, please patch this asap!
