Mine is doing the same thing and it stuck at 33%. ;(

I tried to restart when it hit 11k >~> Shouldn't have done that. It's restarted everything and it's STILL GOING. forever at 33% Q-Q

same problem. note that it's mot start from 0 but from 33.

I'm now trying different regions, maybe it'll help. i also tried changing the DNS.

i'm using MAC btw. i don't know if it'll help, but if someone fixes it, please write it here. :)

My Mac is also forever scanning files. These other postings indicate a lost cause in waiting on this. Just wanted to add my circumstance regarding this issue to the pool of alerts for riot to analyze.
