League of Legends game won't start..

Okay, so I was playing league of legends. I went into a ranked queue. I chose Darius after the bans, and then the game was starting. It closed out the champion select as usual, but didn't open the game client. This doesn't usually happen, but has happened before. I rebooted my computer, and it had to do updates 'n stuff (This had nothing to do with league crashing). It took a while, and I got back in the game at about 30 minutes. We had a crazy carry, and won shortly after I joined back in. After the game finished, I was banned for abandoning my teammates several times. Has anybody else had this problem before?
