Sion and Nautilus Q interaction

Is Nautilus anchor pull supposed to phase through Sion when you are knocked up? I just witnessed this. Nautilus threw out his anchor, before it connects Sion completes the downward swing to complete the knock-up. The Anchor then passes through Sion while Nautilus is in the air. Not Sure if this is really a bug or intentional.
