Sion and Nautilus Q interaction

Is anchor pull supposed to phase through when you are knocked up? I just witnessed this. threw out his anchor, before it connects completes the downward swing to complete the knock-up. The Anchor then passes through while is in the air. Not Sure if this is really a bug or intentional.
